Yes, you are right and I can't stand this lady. She's nosy and I think she gives her kids a bad impression of herself (in her character).

That's just Roxy, she is always out of style, season and her element. I guess that is just part of her charm!
Because she's an alcoholic and due to her addiction...her body temperature is out of whack. Addicts/alcoholics always inappropriately dress thus being prime targets for hypothermia.

Because its Roxy. It is true to her character. Unlike some of the other answers - I love her character. Not is only is she great comic relief, but she accepts her faults. She has stated many times that she wasn't the best mom, but wants to be now. That has made her fiercely loyal to her kids and even Marcie!
Its unrealistic and true at the same time......she wears too little clothes throughout the year. she likes to show skin....I went to a suburban school and most of my peers there were Caucasian...i hope i spelled the right but anyway........ they were walking around most of the winter with short skirts and flip flops... so it couldn't be too unrealistic....and half of them didn't drive they had to catch the bus to school......
