#2__What a Wonderful World was played when Luke told Jess to finish his room. And they'll hold hands and skip after.
#4__Know Your Onion was played when Rory was listening to her walkman and reading during lunch.
#7__Oh My Love was played when Dean broke up with Rory (the first time, in the car).
#9__Where You Lead is obviously the theme song.
#11__One Line was played when Rory said "I love you, you idiot."
#12__The Man Who Murdered Love was played when Lorelai was painting Rory's toenails, because bad girls always wear red nail polish.
#24__My Little Corner of the World was played when Rory went to tell Lorelai that she and Dean were back together and Lorelai went to tell Rory that Max proposed.
And that's all I know.
That's a good question! But I'm not sure if each song on the soundtrack is even featured on an actual Gilmore Girls episode. Since the soundtrack was originally released in 2002 and Gilmore Girls started in 2000, most likely the songs could be found on episodes from the 1st or 2nd season. That's about as much as I know :)
