Paid for Top Model?!
Question: I found the application and qualifications to be on Top Model. My sister and I were thinking about shooting to apply for cycle 11 next summer. Anyway, do the girls get paid to be on the show? I have a full time job and would hate to quit it so I couldn't work for 3 months during shooting. It was just an idea I was tossing around. Thanks!

As far as I know, you do not get paid.
There have been several girls who stated that they quit their job, they risked everything to have a shot at being America's Next Top Model.
I think the exposure your getting by being on the show...even if you don't win should be enough to help anyone who wants to further their career as a model.
I'm sure they figure that if you are a "Serious" model and really want this bad enough you will do what ever it takes to succeed, even if it means you need to quit your job.
I'm sure it would be nice to get paid, but it's not going to happen. However, you get to live in an AWESOME house, travel, win prizes, and they stock the frig!!

No, you don't get paid to be on the show, unless you win and get the modeling contract. It would stink to not work for three months, but it may be worth it if you think you have a shot at winning. Good luck to you and your sister if you decide to apply!
They don't get paid they just get stipends for living necessities when they are on the show.
