In which season and episode Monk solves the murder of his wife?!

I start watching Monk and I've seen season 1, I am in the middle of season 2 and i was wandering when is he actually going to solve who murdered his wife. Can anybody tell me?

He hasn't solved Trudy's murder yet. I don't think I would want him to till the end of the show-it's part of the allure (he is a great mind but can't solve something so close to his heart). I love the show enjoy season 2:)
To date, I do not believe he has. I'm thinking this will be a series finale. They have ended the season (3 or 4?) with it looking like he was getting close, but that led to something else. Sorry, still no justice for Trudy.
he has not solved it yet. I think he is getting close though. maybe the next season.
he hasn't solved trudy's murder yet...that's why he's so anal about solving all the other crimes...it helps him feel better that he can't find trudy's murderer and bring the case to a close...
