Back in 1975, Toei Productions created the first ever Sentai, which was called Gorangers. In 1992, they created a series called Zyurangers, which Hiam Saban used to create his own Power Rangers, which was then called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, This year, Disney Production through Jetix has just about finished showing Operation Overdrive, which was created from last year's Sentai series Boukengers.
Super Sentai, if you mean the original Japanese series Saban bought the rights from for creating an American version, the Power Rangers.
Super Sentai in 1993 Haim Saban took the footage of of the sentai Zyuranger and formed The 1st Power Rangers and has been continued.
