How to do a clean set of comedy?!
Question: signed up for a talent show....going to do some stand up but it has to be clean...anyone know any surefire ways to be funny without saying #$%#, or %^$##, or $$#@

Try studying Bill Cosby, or Sinbad's old stuff. Those are the only two clean comedians that I know. I'm pretty sure there are others, but they are hard to find. Cosby talked about his wife and children while Sinbad talked about his childhood. You can get pointers from them on how to be funny while staying clean. Unfortunately, since Richard Pryor, many comedians believe their acts have to be dirty to be funny. Sometimes it worked, many times it didn't. You may have to go back farther than Cosby and check out Dean Martin and the Rat Pack and other comedians of the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. Good luck.
