Anyone still waiting to watch Lost?!
Question: This was my favorite show ever. Why did they have to wait this long to put it back on!?!? Personally, I try not to think about it but I am starting to get anxious!! Anyone have any good theories since we have been waiting and had time to think?

To a couple of previous answerers: Remarkable how some people who "have no interest in the programme" take time out their day to answer questions about it!
Lost will be back in February. There is a contract in place for three more seasons, consisting of 16 episodes each, so they will complete another 48 episodes no matter what. The trouble is that there will be a 9-month wait between each season. I think this is because the script and actually filming it and producing/editing it is such a complex task.
I've had a tonne of theories, but honestly have no idea what the writers have in store for us. I often check out the below sites for some other fans' theories etc.

It takes so long because just one episode take weeks to put togeather. I too am in anticipation of the show resuming. The last show of the season threw so many curve balls at us that the "whats next" is driving me crazy. To bad its on at a late time slot, it seems like it would do better in the ratings if it had an 8 or even 9 o'clock slot. I believe it has 2 more seasons (maybe 3) that is what the writers have planned anyways.
Ive just bought and watched series 3 - I love lost!
Aparantly next season you find out all about the french woman (it goes into her story) and it goes into Libbys story (Hurleys girlfriend that died)
I cant wait though! The end of season 3 was such a cliff hanger!
I never watched it and therefore, have no interest in it.
I do hope the Professor finds a way to get at least himself and Maryann off the island, Gilligan and the rest can fend for themselves.

mY FAMILY LOVES ''LOST''. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT IS NOT ON YET. I AM GOING TO HAVE TO RENT LAST SEASON BECAUSE AT THIS POINT I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER HOW IT LEFT OFF. FOR A SHOW THAT JUMPS BACK AND FORTH LIKE THAT(JUST LIKE HEROS) YOU CANNOT WAIT FOREVER TO START THE NEW SEASON. Too many people lose interest when you wait that long.
Yes, I can't wait until the new series starts. I thought the first few episodes were a bit silly, what with them being chased by polar bears, but I stuck with it as the characters and main storyline appealed to me.
Hopefully the next series of '24' will keep me going - fingers crossed it'll be better this time around.

I love Lost even though it's driving me crazy sometimes and i have no idea what is going to happen next because that's the beauty in Lost after all...everything it's upside down..But i don't want them to get off the island I wish that could be a flash scene from Desmond visions(but i don't really think so)
omg! i have been waiting for ever! i think that they seriosly need to stop messing around with the times! i can hardly remember what happened! i heard they're coming in February, but come on, throw us a commercial or two, just so that we know there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
