Is vh1 the new hip hop channel?!
Question: I notice lately vh1 caters to a lot of hip hop. We have bet and mtv why change the concept of other channels? Is it because viacom is on a big brother power trip? WTF!

I recognized that too. Next thing you know it they will be showing college hill on it. I think that MTV, VH1 and BET are turning into one big network.

No. VH1 is the new trashy reality show channel. Just like MTV and BET, going crazy with the stupid reality shows. They don't even play good music or introduce really good new artists. Instead they rehash the same old crap over and over.
i dont think i always thought it was MTV2 since they give alot of hip hop there
I don't think so... vh1 is has a lot of reality and documentary type stuff... they cater to popular music... and it just happens that hip-hop is on top right now, so a lot of the focus is going to be there.
