Question: Forgot the name of the show. So I was wondering if anyone knew. 10 points to whoever gets it correctly..
It's about these professional movie directors who are finding the best director I think. They start them off in their own groups, then it narrows down to a few people and so on, they had to each do mini films. In one group they had person doing the recording, one person working on audio, one on effects and so on...

That sounds a lot like "ON THE LOT" from Fox. The show consisted of three judges,Carrie Fisher, Garry Marshall, and a guest judge of the week weighing in on the short films of aspiring directors. In the first couple of rounds, they were grouped in threes,each one taking a turn at directing one different segment of the same film. As the show progressed, each director was on his/her own to create a short film in the featured genre (action,horror,comedy,etc.). The winner was one of my top three guys. His name is Will Bigham. The prize was a million dollar film contract and the chance to work for Steven Spielberg,whom he "met" in person at the end of the show. I put that word in quotes because even though the show was live,it just looked a little too contrived to me. I think I would've believed that first meeting more if Steve-o had said greetings on a live link. Anyway, hope this helps you out.
