Question: When they were in the plane and Ryan took over the controls why was he playing so dumb about it. I seem to recall he has flown a plane on the show before and has his license or am I thinking of someone else.

I don't remember Ryan flying but Josh has for sure. But it seems like they all loose their senses in a crisis.
