You didn't miss anything, the writers just threw in all the Night Shift storylines hoping viewers were too stupid to notice. You can find detailed recaps at Serial Drama, but basically the nurse was an Angel Of Death.
It was on Night Shift,Jolene, the girl Spinelli took to the ball is her sister, NAdine. She was working for a group that wanted to ruin GH so they could take it over and they were having her kill patients in order to do so.
jolene. spinelli had a crush on her but she turned him down.
On General Hospital Night Shift there was a student nurse Jolene who ended up working for this company called "Med-cam". Med-Cam was a company that was trying to set up General Hosptial to shut down. So they paid nurse Jolene to go in there and to do whatever they told her to. I know she killed at least one person,some older lady, and she probably killed more.
ON GH: Night Shift MedCam was trying to take over the hospital. Jolene Crowell, Nadine's sister, was being paid by MedCam to sabotage the hospital and harm patients. She killed an older women and almost succeeded in killing another but Jason caught her. Anyways, there was a gunfight in the hospital and she is now in critical condition. The women who played her character is now the new Babe on AMC.
I stopped watching GH a few weeks ago because i was so sick of the Night shift stuff being thrown in there. It is hard to follow and care about situations that you know nothing about. Have they stopped showing NS scenes? If they have, i will start to TIVO it again!
