I believe that the song was song by the " Lovin Spoonfuls" and the TV show was ??? . Are you sure that this was a show that was 6 years ago ?? The only thing that comes to mind, is the movie " Beaches" with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey. I hope that this helped some.
