Even if some of the silly songs chosen for the so-called 'big band' night had been better I can't see how they could have come anywhere near the standard of Beverley's performance.
It felt like she meant every word. It gripped me from start to finish. She made the whole show worth watching.

defo Kimmy, very classy. She is a serious contender for winning.
I think that there were only four acts tonight that shone. Beverley, as you say, was excellent. But so was Rhydian, who turned a crappy song into such an interpretation that it made him look a star. Leon was good this week, I'm pleased to say and that type of song is certainly made for him. Other than that, Nikki would have been the other choice. If these four don't remain when all the others have gone, I'll eat my hat. Or I would if I had one. And how about having a show with Beverley and Rhydian top of the bill?
