I think that she realizes that some people are doing it because they are nervous and she takes the opportunity to make them even more uncomfortable, to try and get the truth out of them.

That is funny because I saw it today too. Yeah, it doesn't make sense BUT people who are on drugs tend to be really thirsty. I also get thirsty when I'm nervous. Seems to me he should have been allowed to drink it without instance........ I always have something to drink with me --- even in my car. I thought the EXACT same thing though -- it was like it was "staged" but I don't think the show is really staged.

i have never seen her get really mad at someone with the exception of todays episode... i think it probably annoys her the most because they do it at inappropriate moments like in the beginning when she starts to question someone.. also if it seems like they aren't paying attention to the testimony...
