What are Leno and Letterman going to do now that the writers are on strike?!

Question: Actually, Jay Leno just said that they won't be allowed to film new episodes during the strike. So it will be re-runs =[

I wish they could keep them on so that Jay could do his own stand-up. I'm sure he'd love to and i'm sure he'd KILL!!! =]

I laughed out loud at this question. That was exactly my first thought when I heard about the strike.

I think those 2 would manage pretty well on their own.

The writers on those shows are terrible. Leno couldn't be funny if he had Bob Hope writng for him. Letterman is only funny when he's just being himself. Having no writers would be great for him, he can just improvise the whole show. His monologues and top 10 lists make me cringe because the jokes are so bad.

If the writers want to be greedy, so be it. They can all go flip burgers and have some actual impact on the world.

I guess they're going to take a paid vacation. I'm more concerned about what our presidential candidates are going to do what with no one there to write their scripts.
