Do you think comedy is lacking in television serials and soaps?!

Question: Greetings. Certainly. it takes talented writers to write good comedy and talented actors and actresses to use the good comedy. we seem to have a very great lack of both. writers seem to have forgotten what comedy is supposed to be. It does not require the comedian to swear every second word, nor to use gutter talk. Is like the movies that try to compensate for lack of story with nude scenes or glimpses. Comedy definitely is dying in our day and age. As are many of the arts when you think about it.

In most of them , yes. Look for the shows that aren't just being made for ratings, like with movies that aren't just being made for the box office.

Yes, you have said the most correct thing. TV serials show all the humbug.

It always does especially at the beginning of a new season, and a new show. The charactors are new, and the plots are new, so the comedy is weak for a while.

Plus the writers are on strike right now too..

Mostly YES!

You bet. The comedy sit coms lack most humor. I would like to see the return of tings like "That Was the Week That Was" "Smothers Brothers" Rowan & Martin Laugh In" Carol Burnett" " Sonny& Cher" Now those sort of shows actually gave something to laugh at. The sitcoms are lame.

yessss it's just a an indian fashion show ladies with costly costumes ,sarees n stuffs

Heck yeah. Those guys only know how to cry and make people cry along with them. They have the most dramatic scripts and the most hypothetical plots ever. Not to mention, the most depressing characters. It'll be a rare moment and a miracle if someone (other than the villain) smiles. =)

totally yes
