a little bit of both...when they cast the ppl they look for personalities that have potiental for drama and then of course the producers feed it along.....its my reality though so i'm good with it

Biggest Loser- real. Survivor- totally fake. Past survivors have been talking about riding to tribal in air-conditioned SUV's then getting out and pretending they were so tired from the hike, etc. Remember season 1 (I think) where they were talking about eating rats and stuff to survive? Totally fake.
I'm gonna say it's not all real. It can't be. Now I do believe that bits and pieces of it are real, but I think those moments are few and far between.
I think at least 75% is fake
