Most Haunted Live (31st October)?!
Question: Probably the best night out of the others, i enjoyed it last night. But when she had to go it alone she seemed a bit annoyed (judging by the look on her face!!) about it,
But does anyone agree that Yvette screams the loudest, be the center of attention & in pictures promoting the show she has to be in the light where poor meduim David Wells to her left, is in the dark & HE is the one who contacts the dead?
I did hear that her & Derek didnt get along & I have noticed staff have left. Do you think its all Yvette or are the crew getting more nervous of the spirits ?!

I too believe in spirits, i`ve seen one in my house but this is the most frustrating show.
About Derek firstly, he was asked to leave the show after Ciaran O`Keeffe set Derek up with some false names before the show and Derek used them.

On the show, why on earth don`t they have more cameras, something happens and it isn`t caught because the one hand held camera is pointing at Yvette`s face!
Why have people on there who don`t want to go into a dark room at night. And i don`t wish to sound mean but what on earth is the point of Kath? The make up lady who adds nothing to the show. Sorry but it`s true.
I am really interested in the paranormal and have seen a couple of impressive things, Carl and Stuart were sat at a table in a cellar and the table was jumping up and moving quite a distance and another when they caught a chair on camera move to one side when no-one was near it.
I agree with you Yvette does seem to grab all the attention in the show, i too have noticed that a lot of the crew have gone, the show has got worse since Derek Acorah left it also seems a lot more staged nowadays.
If this was a progamme about things that fall off the ceilings in old buildings, everytime something fell down nobody would flinch.
The best example was a couple of years ago when something flew out of a belfry where they were filming. Everyone was saying what an amazing light anomoly (Orb), the best we've ever seen, etc etc.
However, if they were making a film about bats, they would have been shouting, WOW, did you see that, what an amazing bat.
As it happens, that is exactly what it was. It flew out of a belfry/tower, known to be inhabited by bats. It flew a totally typical bat flight path, and when we put the recording into a computer and enhanced it, guess what, it was a bat.
The thing about that programme is, it's based on the fact that people interpret things as psychic phenomena because of the atmosphere created by the programming. Because you expect to see phenomena, that is how you and they interpret things. The bat story is just piece of evidence
EDIT:- WHAT? Derick Acorah was the perfect actor. He so clearly researched everything including the names he came up with. Just the way he always tried to make it look as if he was really searching and trying to catch a name that was coming from the beyond, and then it was just "Smith." Why so difficult to get that name when he was having very clear day to day conversations with his supposed spirit guide, Sam. Remember? Talking to him like he is standing next to him, and making out like he can't catch a simple name like Smith.
PS, I am a true believer, but this show is just so false

hi wendy this is blue, i have always thought, yvette, was bossy, and wanted to be centre of attention, i don,t watch it so much any more,
that show is lame
Derek was fired from the show because he (being a medium) was researching his venues before he actually went to them, he's meant to know what's going to happen, but he cheated, don't get me wrong i Love most haunted but when Derek was on the show, i just used to crease up laughing because of his phoniness, he was so obvious... and then after he got fired he got his own show...lol...Yvette is a bit of an attention hog, David should be in the spotlight and they should shove something down Yvette's throat to stop that awful shrieking it goes right through me....
When Most Haunted first hit our tv screens we watched it every week and were really impressed but.....nowadays if we are having problems sleeping we put that show on and.....zzzzzzzzzzzzz........one good nights sleep! Yvette is a right royal pain in the you-know-what, the other crew members must get fed up of her lol. The problem we had in the end with Derek Acorah was his acting...and the amount of times he got possessed. In the end we gave up watching it coz it just annoyed us as well as putting us to sleep! ps. yes, we do believe in spirits and we've seen a few in our time.
