Crossing Jordan was definitely cancelled. NBC made the announcement on May 14, 2007.
I've only heard a little about those five episodes that didn't air. Some are saying that NBC put them on their site but I can't find them now. A search at their site for "Crossing Jordan" gives no valid results, like the show never existed. Most cancelled series save the unaired episodes for the Dvd set as that dramatically increases sales but Crossing Jordan season 1 is not even available yet.
Maybe they'll show up on YouTube, AOL Television, or someplace.
Six years and 117 episodes was a pretty fair run. The vast majority of series would have loved to do that well. It is sad when one of your favorites goes "bye bye" though.
the last seson is the one where they crashed in a plane in the mountains.
there were 5 episodes after that, but no one seems to know what happened in them.
too bad, too. i love that show.
they did get rescued from the plane crash & that was the end of the show. it has been cancelled sad as I really liked this show
