The Waltons. There were 7 kids-3 boys and 4 girls, Mom, Dad, and Grandma all living in one home. We lived out in the country and were very low income but never realized how little we had until we grew up and looked back from adulthood. We never went hungry and were properly clothed in clean but handed down clothing. All our neighbors were in the same fix financially so we didn't realize that we were missing anything and I don't believe we did. We all became very self sufficient and learned early on to make do with what we had.
