Does anyone know what happened to General Hospital's Night Shift?!
Question: I had been recording it on Dishnetwork's Soapnet Channel 188 every Thrusday night and now when I go to watch it it turns out to be Days of Our Lives.

Like the previous answers said, it was just the 13 episodes that were taped and aired. The last episode was on October 4, 2007 and they haven't made any plans to continue taping although they have introduced quite a few of the Night Shift characters on GH as well as a few of the storylines.
I think it is just a seasonal show and not on all year round like the original.

It's a seasonal show with a limited amount of episodes...I don't know if it'll come back on again...
Night Shift was originally scheduled to run for 13 weeks. It was to draw new viewers for GH, it was targeted towards a younger crowd. The finale was weeks ago. There may not be another season.

It was only slated for a 13-episode run, but I think the producers had expected it to get picked up for a second season. It completely tanked, so instead they brought all the characters and storylines over to GH, making the original show even more illogical than usual.
That show dosn't even make sense. I didn't watch it. On one show Jason was in jail, then the other show had him hanging out at the hospital.Sorry, I can't help you. I think it was seasonal, but it will be back.

It was a test to see what kind of reaction they would get...I did not like it..
to confusing when you watch GH during the day and the stories are different on NIght Shift.
