Why does Stacey Slater call Big Mo Harris 'Nan'?!
Question: Mo is not Stacey's Nan, her brother Sean calls her Mo, so why is Stacey calling her 'Nan'?

Charlie's Sister was never married so kept her name and past it to her son 'Brian who was married to Stacey & Sean's Mum, Jean.
So why is Stacey calling Mo 'NAN'?????

I didn't realise that, i thought Stacey's dad was Charlie's nephew. Anyway, i suppose Stacey just calls her nan because when she came to live at the Slaters, all of the Slater sisters called her nan (as she was their nan) and Stacey just called her that too. Incidentally,my friend's little girl used to call my mum "Nan" because she heard my little boy call her that.
Well if she hasn't got a nan of her own maybe she 'borrowed' her cousins nan? It's all faaaaaaaaaaaaaamily ain't it!

I always thought Jean *was* Charlie's sister, which would mean that Stacey is his niece - which would explain the "Uncle Charlie".
It's just a form of respect for her elder.
