Actually they'll have about 7 new episodes and take it from there. There was a mass letter-writing campaign and they brought it back for those 7 episodes for early 2008.
I read that Jericho was not picked up for a second season. I was disappointed because I really like that show and the characters.
7 new episodes are scheduled as mid-season replacements. That means Jericho will return anywhere from November to January!
It was cancelled but due to many complaints it will come back for quite a few episodes in the mid season!
