Question: Yes, unfortunately, the best series since Band of Brothers has been can celled.
It was cancelled for two reasons - money and lack of viewership. While it was the best show on TV and one of the highest regarded show, it was limited to BBC and HBO due to it's content. It would have to be VERY washed down to make it on network TV, where all the advertising money really is.
The sets alone were a fortune, and the attention to details was grand. Unfortunately, no one outside of HBO watched it...
I will seriously miss that show...but at least the main character is on Journeyman now!
