I get really annoyed too when the part played is out of character - like Emily being a paedophile. The script writers should consult their records and check whether or not this character WOULD do whatever the directors say they should do. I mean since when has Sara being an innocent little angel? I speak tongue in cheek and a hypocrite as I watch this soup the most, and like most soaps its chewing gum for the eyes and ears. Like I have been typing here for a while with Corrie on and haven't really missed what was happening.
The writers are desperate to find a new Nick Cotton or was he Eastenders? But you know what I mean. They may even take David's older brother back Nick was it - then I will be sick. Or dig up some ancient crone's evil relatives to make new stories. Bye for now Camilla not the world's brainiest!!

Ha ha! You're right, but he does play a good part, everyone really hates him! I wouldn't want to be the actor in real life, I bet he gets all sorts of abuse!

Only one who saw it besides us is Sarah I knew they were going to turn the tables round fearing your child is dead will make them go towards him. he knew she'd throw away the letter as she knows his game clever bit of pyscological writing to be honest.

Poor Sarah we all knew that it would end up in tears. I love Corrie and David [ do not know his real name ] is a real swine. The way he smiles that evil little sneaky smile makes me want to smack him. As for Gail and the Grandmother , geeeezzz . Gail reminds me of a budgie, strange-looking woman. Seems like she has totally forgotten that he was banned from entering the house, from the wedding etc, she must be suffering from memory loss.
Too right he should have come back dressed as a Ghost and said Trick or Treat that would be way cool
I think it worked as a storyline. I know he had 'promised' to keep away from the wedding but threatening suicide is such a serious thing that no-one would think that even David would be capable of using it so lightly.
And even though he is the devil's spawn, he is still Gail's child.
I feel so sorry for Sarah though. I know the actress will be leaving the soap and her last scenes will probably be broadcast this month. I'm guessing she'll just get fed up with all of it and move out and leave Gail to David.
David is DEFINITELY a character you love to hate that's for sure. In Canada we are so far behind. We just had Charlies funeral!! But David is already acting wierdly and doing that evil smirky grin. He sure is good at it. The guy is a very good actor. Looks like we will have quite a bit of that since we are close to 10 months behind the UK.
