Is Season 4 of House the official "jump the shark" season?!

Question: I loved Seasons 1, 2 and 3 and own them all on DVD. This season doesn't have the same kick to it. It doesn't feel as clever...he's just wacky and rude, and I haven't bothered to learn some of these new docs' names yet.

Is anyone else feeling this way?

No.

The shark is not jumped.

The show just need s to get back to its original cast to be just as good as ever.

When th team is back in place, the pace of the humor will quicken and everyone will be happy once more.

The fact is people take for granted that this is an ensemble cast and when it is together the show is sharp. Right now it is disjointed.

Give it another week while House is with the CIA and what will happen is tat the wrters will fix the staffing problem.

Personally, I would have written the whole staffing problem out in two episodes using Foreman's mom but that is just me. I guess contract problems took longer to fix than thought.

I am waiting for someone to come to Cameron and ask "When do intend to start practicing medicine and stop dispencing care?" That is the big question. When she comes back to the team, the show begins.

BTW, what would you give Cuddy instead of birth control pills?

Hmmm.

Couldn't agree more. Why would they mess with the cast like they did. I thought maybe they'd just bring in those other doctors for like one episode, but damn, are they messing up the show or what?

The other doctors had good chemistry. With these new ones, there just isn't.

That Mormon doctor is just creepy looking, Grumpy is boring, that one girl is meaner than House, etc. Kumar might be the only exception, but please get rid of the rest of them. I might not even watch the next episode, it is so stupid now.

I agree...but diagree.

I totally agree with the fact that this season is not the same as the others. But I truley believe it was important for them to introduce new cast members as the relationships with the other cast members have all been exploited and they would have had to start rehashing story line which would have sent house down hill.

Its always difficult getting used to new cast members in an established series but thats because you already have a emotional connection with the old cast members, the new ones... you have no idea who they are, you dont have that connection yet, it takes time. Im sure by the time this season is half over things will be more normal and the new cast will be great.

It's definitely worst that the previous seasons... I want the old team back. Foreman alone is bad. But I like 13, I forgot her name. The rest, they can go and I wouldn't care.

I think they went over board with the Mormon doctor and the jokes directed that way. Like they are trying too hard, and trying to go for the obvious jokes that aren't even funny.
