The bloke who did an ipod thing in teddy bears is doing alright I think and the magazine Wonderland is still around. Hi, they did a programme not so long ago, and it followed some of the successful people. Two guys with a fresh food delivery company, doing very very well, a lady with a dance school franchise for kids too.
I thought the guy with the lazy eye who proposed to run an online breakdown advisory service was a classic. As was the old guy with the keep fit easy chair. What a ludicrous and hilarious concept.
One thing that bugs me about the Dragons is they don't want to take any sort of risk.
The want companies that are already up and running, with people who know what they're doing, they want good sales, marketing already done, production up and running, and orders in the book!
Why does anyone in this situation then want to go and give away 40% of all they have worked for?
99% of the time they don't and see this as an easy way to get some tv time to promote their company and products.
And this is why there is so little investment, the Dragons will not go in unless the company's as good as done, but yet these people don't want or need them anyway.
i dont know of many who have still got a deal with the dragons. Apart for the ones people have already mentioned there is the woman who makes those blow up fruit containers. They are given away free at my sons school. Also the guy who made nova flo is doing well too
