There was an X-Files episode like that, with Ed Asner and Lily Tomlin as the ghosts. They haunt people on Christmas Eve.
Not sure that this is it, but Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" features the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. this one really plays on the guilty feelings that may surface around the holidays.
Like ^ said...the ep of the X-Files called 'How The Ghosts Stole Christmas'. In which the two ghosts try to get Mulder and Scully to complete a suicide/murder like they did years and years ago. Pretty funny ep!
