Sabrina and Mark on Dancing with the Stars??!
Question: She has done very well so far this season on the show.... HOWEVER, she is use to dancing with the Cheeta Girsl. SO she does have experience dancing, is that really fair to all the other stars???
Mark CUban got voted off last week (my personal fave) and he had NO dancing experience... was it really fair to every one else on the show??
I feel the some way about the spice girl that is on the show... does any one else agree??

no i feel its unfair to everybody else so far sabrina, mel, jane and marie all have some sort of dancing experience, where other people are starting out, also i think the judges are playing favorites with marie since she also did a lift and nothing was said about it, this also happens every season they have a favorite and that person gets away with stuff others can't. ok must get off my soap box
I think it is really unfair. And, you are right - both of them have dancing experience. It's an unbalanced competition. If they want experienced dancers one season they should just let them compete against each other.
Sabrina has had some dancing experience but nothing like what she has to perform on the show. For that matter, Marie Osmond would sing and dance on her TV show, so what's fair? The type of dances and choreography that they do is completely foriegn to them, so I think it's fair. But I do think that Sabrina will win.
u know i was thinking that too. when Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff were in the finals. one of my co-workers thinks Mario has dancing experince because he was in Saved By The Bell. i'm glad the football guy won that season. i didn't know there was a Spice Girl or a Cheeah Girl on the show. i only pay attention if i know someone. yes i agree with u. i think they should bring in stars who haven't had experience in dancing before. like first season Kelly Monaco (General Hospital) won the season minus that Dance Off even though she never did that before. who cares if DWTS has harder dancing then what the Spice Girls did.
As in every competition one enters voluntarily, the contestants should know and understand what the possible scenarios are, therefore it is a "fair" contest. By the way, they get paid to participate so don't feel too sad for them.
Let's face facts. Viewer voting on DWTS is based on popularity-not dancing expertise. Every season I am totally amazed at the professional dancer's abilities to make the stars look, and dance, like professional dancers. DWTS is show about ballroom dancing so even though someone like Sabrina dances on stage, that is far different than ballroom dancing with a partner. Whenever the season gets down to the final two, I always want it to end in a tie.
Of all of the dancers in all of the seasons, my favorite is still Emmitt Smith.

true those people do have experience in dancing, but they do not do ballroom dancing. that's what dancing with the stars is about.
now, if this was a dance competition with more up to date dancing, then sabrina and mel b would definitely have the upper hand and it would not be fair!
remember, everyone volunteered for this. it's not like it's the first season. they know that people with dance experience compete with people without it!
I know Sabrina is a great dancer, but i cannot help wanting Helio and Julianne to be the champions! He has amazing talent considering he has had NO performance background! He totally deserves the trophy! I also think Jane is really talented, she just had a bad week, but she is also twice the age of most of the stars! GO Helio and Julianne!
A lot of people that have been on the show have had some kind of dancing experience. What you have to remember is how many of them have had ballroom dancing experience? Sabrina is use to hip hop style of dancing and, if I recall, she got told that they didn't want to see any of that. I would say that it's about the same for Mel B given the type of music that the Spice Girls sing. Sometimes, those habits are hard to break which can make these competitions even harder, but I think they're both doing a terrific job.
A proven fact that dance experience doesn't always help - Jane Seymour. She's got ballet experience and while it's been a big plus in how graceful she is. I don't think she'll be around much longer. I love watching her, but some of the others have just come a lot further.
While Sabrina has had dance expeirence, it isn't in ballroom dancing. Some folks catch on quicker than others so that is why it looks like they have had dance experience. All were on equal footing when the show began but there are those who have really caught on and are more entertaining than others to watch.
I think Sabrina will win. I also think it will be her, Helio, Cameron and Mel in the top four.
