BBC Strcitly Come Dancing Scam?!

Question: 1 Scam: we all know who should have been at the bottom two, yet i reckon the BBC picked Penny and Gabby deliberately to make people think "I should have voted and then it wouldn't have happened" making more money for them.

2 Scam: Funny how Claudia said that Rod Stewart would be interviewed during this week to say how much the contest means to Penny. Now would that interview have happened if she had been knocked out, funny how she was kept in when she was not as good as Gabby. Plus Rod could always pull some string to keep her on the show.

Are BBC thinking were really quite thick and trying ot scam us AGAIN, the little blitters

I don't think it is a scam by the BBC but it is purely the viewing public who vote for their favourite people - personality - rather than voting for the quality of the dancing. It was a travesty those two were at the bottom and I cannot understand why the judges picked Penny - Gabby has far more to offer.

Don't know if its a scam but cannot understand why those two ended up bottom of the pile, wasn't Gabby hubby worse than the lot, as to John Barnes sorry but can't understand why he's still in it. I would be sorry if it was a scam, followed it avidly for the last few years, and always enjoyed the show.

NOBODY !!!!!!!!

should be calling any phone in lines

you are just encouraging them to keep them going

with the amount of money i pay the bbc in licence fee , they should be paying me to watch there proggs , not me giving them even more money

( thanks for letting me have a rant ) lol

well it is monday morning :)

all the best
Ian

I don't think it's a scam, it's the great British public being ironic

I agree with you .. it probably was some kind of scam... but it was absolutely disgraceful whatever it was..

Gabby was easily one of the best dancers there, but c'mon what do you expect.. Darren Gough was never the best dancer the other year either...

dR bad Scarlet
I may as well watch X-factor next week..

..if only the girls on SCD weren't so darned good-looking

To honest I dont think it was a scam at all. After what happened with the money competitions I think the BBC will be monitoring these sort of shows

In my opinion neither Penny or Gabby deserved to be in the bottom two, there again I shouldn't comment because I didn't vote. Did you? i wonder how many people who have answered this question voted.

I disagree with you that Gabby was the best. I much preferred Penny I thought she was great the routine was perfect for her and she looked fantastic. She was having fun and it came across in the dance.

I

If you don't agree with it, don't vote. I personally never call those lines as they are a waste of money.

I dont think it was a scam.
I just dont think that Penny and Gabby are as popular with the public as people like Dom or Kate who has got the sympathy vote.
And Claudia could have recorded 2 versions, one where she said Rod Stewart would be in and one where she didn't. Just in case.

mmmmm it was a surprise i must admit i don,t understand how that one from g m t v is still in it

dont you think they are all a scam i love x factor and scd all they want you to do is vote and i bet you next week they will say something in the lines of wasn't it a shock gabby going we keep telling you vote for your fav

I think its weird how the papers have said Kelly Brook tipped to win before it even begun! I cant stand her.
No I think the judges genuinely shocked at two that were in the bottom 2 no one expected Penny hence Rod interview.
I think people always vote for underdog.

crikey don't you know that you cant have a show without a technical malfunction on the phone lines.it would/nt be cricket lmao.

People in this country like an underdog, they like to see someone progress throughout the competition, as opposed to being very good right from the start. So it doesn't mean that the best dancer will always win.

Gabby was a good dancer, but I didn't like her personality. Call me sexist (I'm a woman!) but she came across as if she was taking it too seriously. This probably didn't warm her to the general public. Unlike someone like John Barnes who has obvious limitations, but still gives it his all,.......

I would personally like to see someone 'come through the ranks' win - it makes more interesting TV and gives us, the general public, some inspiration that maybe we could dance too,..........!!

hi its the people getting the sympathy voting like kate , mind you i wouldnt put it past them all these phone in scams right now.x

The show is not just about the dancing but entertainment. The public are going to vote for who they like, not who is the best dancer.
I very much doubt that Rod Stewart had to pull any strings. I'm sure there are those that would vote for Mrs Stewart just to see a wonderful pair of legs!
At least with the BBC a percentage of the money goes to charity.
You don't have to watch it or vote. If the show didn't get the veiwing figures they would pull it.

Unfortunately, it's not about who is the best dancer, but who is most popular with viewers!!!!!

I think people loves Kate because she doesn't have a famous father or a famous husband but she is very cleaver.

well don't watch it get a life and go out
