I like it..We should remember Mick is still "Young"..not as old as the Vampires that we are used to watching.,
I don't think he's pathetic. But as far as portrayals of vampires go... I think they made him a bit too "human". I think "Forever Knight" and "Buffy" and "Angel" actually struck a good balance as far as vampires on tv go. But I'll still watch "Moonlight". I'll watch anything featuring vampires.

I agree with all the others. Mick is ' still primarily human". He is a newbie compared to other vamps we have watched in the past and present
Forever Knight- Nick Knight was 800 years old
Blood Ties- Henry Fitzroy 480 years old
Angel- He was over 200 years old
Mick is still " wet behind the ears compared to them- only being 85 years old.
Mick's "mentor" (since he offed his sire- his wife) Joseph is 450 years old
I like the series and hope it sticks around
