It has been reported from Digital Spy that Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is wanted by ITV bosses for the new 2007 series, along with TV chef and Norwich City Director Delia Smith, Right Said Fred's Richard Fairbrass, former TV star Michael Barrymore and former American rapper MC Hammer.
Former Coronation Street and Bad Girls star Debra Stephenson was rumoured to be a contestant, however it has since been revealed that this is not true
It is not yet known how long this series will last, However, it is likely to last about 2-3 weeks.
One confirmed celeb to take part in the show is Gemma Atkinson.

it doesn't, they have scrapped it this year and replaced it with a different reality show where the celebrities control the housemates instead of being the contestants themselves.
it sounds rubbish but we can thank jade goody and her racist behaviour for ruining it for us. the new show isn't due to start til january i think
