X Factor - Do the public vote for who they think is good looking or who can ACTU!
Question: I don't vote at all and after all the scandals think how many have spent money without realising their votes meant nothing. AS for who can sing. I did watch some of it tonight (under duress) and I think Niki can sing if she is given the proper support she should win it, but the 'system' needs someone marketable like Leona Lewis or the boys who lost in the final. As a Mom of two she may make it to the last 4 but beyond that? Not if the market makers get their way.

I think it's based mainly on the"look". Would an ugly fat person with a great voice ever win? (and I mean UGLY)...never.

I don't vote at all but my daughter votes for the best looking boy. She also supports Man U because Ronaldo is good looking.
can any of them sing? Apart from Niki the rest are very very average. I think they vote for the one with the soppiest story!

I think it always pretty much goes on looks (maybe not so much with Michelle Mcmanus). I never vote, I don't know anyone who does! xx
That is a very good question and one I was going to post as to whether it is personality or talent that people vote for. This is where it gets so unfair because it is about how many people you know too rather than talent. I am sure people vote for the person rather than the talent they have. I don't vote at all by the way!!!

Don't me wrong these guys can sing a dam sight better than me but there are some on there that just shouldn't be there.

I don't think the general public are as shallow as it maybe seems sometimes. I'd like to think the majority do vote for talent though. Hard to say though because all they seem pretty talented.
Daniel was in the bottom 2 and eliminated last night and many would've said he's pretty hot so that goes to show.

they mostly keep voting 4 ppl who r good looking..i mean i cant believe hope is still in..those girls hv totally spoilt it, with the wrong song choices...who the hell does simon think he is criticising other performances and other judges 4 wrong song choices wen he cant choose gud songs 4 his own groups?? hope DO NOT deserve 2 be in da x factor but ppl keep voting 4 them bcoz of their looks
