New episodes of "Daria" the cartoon series which used to appear on MTV!
Question: What happened to this cartoon, and will there ever be any new episodes? Will they be sold on DVD, I mean like every series they've made? What has happened to the show, does it still come on? I need to get my hands on it, it was truly one of my favorites, alongside some other ones that I will mention at a later time.

They ended the series with a special high school graduation episode, titled "Is It College Yet," which you can buy on DVD. But the rest of the series isn't available. Because it used so many songs on the soundtrack, the fees that would have to be paid for a DVD release would bring the price way up and MTV and Viacom figure that only hard-core fans would buy it at the high price, so making a DVD release unprofitable and therefore unlikely.
Such a shame. Maybe Adult Swim will start repeating it.
If you have satellite it comes on one of those channels, I don't remember which cause I don't have it anymore.
I loved that show, I miss the 90s... Daria was my hero.
