Am I alone in feeling that 'Friends' was the worst show ever?!
Question: I ask this now because my wife seems so caught up on the reruns and has the nerve to tell me that it's on par with 'Seinfeld'. Yeah, I know, not only do she not have taste, but she crazy as well.

I watched the first episode because Jennifer Aniston was in it. She was in another sitcom just before "Friends" started that I thought was good but I seemed to be the only one who thought the show was good because it didn't last but a few episodes (I don't even remember the name of it or what it was about). Anyway, I watched the first episode of "Friends" and did not like it; I never watched another episode. Sienfeld, though, is one of my all-time favorite sitcoms.

I hate to say this, but you're actually the first person I've ever met who didn't like it.
You're probably not alone, but I'm not in agreement with you. It was the most popular show on tv for a while, and the longevity speaks for itself.
That show is so cocky is hard to watch. Plus I hate the background laughter.

ya that show makes you want to get a rope and a bottle of whiskey, and then find a big old tree to dangle your self from.. i cant stand friends my spouse made me watch that for years.. grrrrr!! and Seinfeld. really makes me sick.. that narrow headed Jew really makes a person want to go through the TV and ripe him a new asss hole
Sorry, but both my husband and I like Friends better than Seinfeld. It has stood the test of time better.

It's not nearly as good as Seinfeld, but it was pretty funny at times. MUCH MUCH better than most sitcoms now or any sitcom on the WB ever.
I think it was too predictable. I know its a sitcom but some parts were boring. It was funny at times and the actors were good but i never laughed out loud while watching Friends.

Friends never was a great show, only Joey was funny
I can think of a lot worse shows...but I can think of a heck of a lot better.
