Why did Tyra insult Ebony?!
Question: Why did she have to say to Ebony quitting is the most unattractive thing to me? I think Ebony did the right thing. Ambreal got lucky. I think Tyra is sort of losing it though, she thinks shes so much better than everyone, she needs a big ol slice of humble pie.

i feel that ebony did the right thing. if she didn't want to be in the competition she shouldn't of stood in the way of someone(ambreal) who wanted to stay!
she may have problems with authority, but i also think she had other issues to deal with and this just wasn't her time. even tyra said to ambreal that it was meant to be.
i think showing her audition tape at the end begging to be on the show was in poor taste.
tyra should of known better. it was almost kicking someone when they are down.
She deserved it. She could have quit at any other moment, but she chose THAT ONE, to do it. Quitting is unnatractive, pure and simple, and she took that place away from someone who REALLY wanted to be there.
The tape at the end was Tyra's revenge.... though it wasn't her most classy moment.
Tyra's becoming a little two-faced in my opinion...acts all sweet one minute and then totally changes

i was so angry when i saw that. tyra has become sort of a bully. ebony did ambreal a favor by admitting she didn't want to be there and not wasting their time. i saw tyra's eyelids flutter and i knew she was pissed. she called ebony a quitter and said she didn't like to be criticized but i think ebony left in a very respectable fashion even though they always picked on her. i think she may have been a bit abrasive because she has no social skills, not because she is a rude person.

i don't think it was the best thing to show ebony's audition tape at the end of the show... people's opinions and wants do change, and are allowed to change. it's a hard place to say if what tyra did was right or not, but ebony did quit. that's just the bottom line of it. she quit because it wasn't for her, but she dropped out nonetheless. and quitting is unattractive... i don't know anybody that would think otherwise. ambreal was very very lucky, and it was better for ebony to say something when she did, versus later. i think tyra's perspective is that she's giving these very few girls the chance of a lifetime, and for someone to quit is just distasteful. that industry is extremely difficult, and she emphasizes that it's not always easy or fun, but you have to push through. that is what makes you good, and what gets you booked and noticed. you can't do that if you give up... ebony could've went all the way, but she stopped before she ever got a taste of what it really takes- besides the whole competition stuff. it is totally different outside of that show, you know?
Oh my god thank you for posting this. You hit it right on the head. Tyra is tacky for putting the audition tape at the end,she felt that she was humiliated,so she felt that she was humilated.Then she stated that Ebony "can't take criticism".When Tyra was the same person who had 12 different shows about weight and body image,after the media began to call her fat. Oh yeah, Tyra your sooooooo much better! It looks like someone should take their own advise and feel a little bit more secure about herself.

Personally, I think that everything that we see on reality shows are scripted and phony. Do you guys not think that Tyra watched the tape of Ebony saying that she just wanted Tyra to send her home, and that she didnt want to be there. Tyra is nosey as hell, and wants to be informed about everything that goes on. I am positive that she saw that tape and did that on purpose. She knew that Ebony wouldn't accept the offer to stay, that's why she chose to keep her instead of Ambreal. Its all about the ratings. No one can make me believe that Tyra didnt watch all the stuff that Ebony was saying about wishing that she went home. I could tell that something was strange just about the way Tyra said Ebony's name and held her picture out. She said it like she knew that she wouldnt accept. Trust me guys, all these shows are scripted. For all we know, Ebony could have came to them before eliminations and said that she wanted to go. But they probably told her to just wait until Tyra handed her the picture, and then say that she couldnt accept it.
So, I really cant make a judgement about the way Tyra handled her about it, because I dont believe that they way we say it, was the way it went down.
