Because when she first met them, one of the guys didn't really like her too much... So she took the dog and hid him so that she could help them look for him... and she could be the one who found him... She thought that would make them like her...

Yes and as you woul expect it backfired on her. That show is so predictable.
Because Susan was trying to make the new neighbours like her and everything else she tried backfired (her first impresion didn't go over too well , then she tried to get them to like her by "making" cookies which didn't work because the one guy is allergic to nuts and Susan didn't bake them so she didn't know if there was any nuts in them) so when susan's daughter found the dog Susan got the idea to hide the dog in her house help them look for it and then pretend she found him and she'd look like the hero! you know Susan she can't stand no being liked!!.... LOL that episode was so funny with the Crabs LMAO when Edie goes up to get food and smells the senator "mmm that is an interesting cologne your wearing" LOL I LOVE that show!!
Because they didn't like her and her daughter found the dog wandering around and she thought is she let them worry for a while and then was the hero and returned the dog, they would love her. As usual, her hairbrained scheme backfired big time!
what I want to know is what that mother is proctecting her daughter from to where she would like a eldery person die.
