the writers will not kill her character off, because according to Carol Mendelsohn, the exec. prod., Jorja Fox will definitely returning.

I hope like hell they kill her off but knowing CSI she'll move off or something and do now and then guest appearances.
I think that depends on the issues that she's leaving for. If it's for more money or contentions with the staff, then most likely she will be killed. If she is leaving b/c she wants to pursue more movie roles, then maybe she will leave as to reoccur in future episodes.
She's actually not exactly leaving. I guess she realized no one is beating down her door to give her another job.
I think they will allow her character to leave the CSI job, but not to allow for guest appearances. They definitely need to close the door for good once she walks out ;-)
I think it's really confusing they just announced her and grissom are going to get married what are they going to do make her a house wife? they can't just get rid of her now
