Which star trek series do you prefer?!

Question: The original, next generation, deep space nine and whatever comes after that?

Answers: The original, next generation, deep space nine and whatever comes after that?

Ooh the Next Generation definitely! I think Picard made an excellent captain.

im not sure

The Next Generation!

all of them and the books too!!!!

Orignal

Both the original and the next generation

next generation. i like all the films too not a big fan of deep space nine though

I'd say I liked Next Generation best. I didn't like Deepspace 9 as much because it was like, "Hey guys, let's sit around and wait for the action to come to us!" - no boldly going anywhere. :) The original was good too, and Enterprise, I can't evaluate because I only watched one episode.

R.T. I prefer the origenal !

They are all so good, The original may be dated but still works, next generation a step up deep space a side step to womans power and what comes next is going to be even better

deep space nine not that im a trekkie or owt

The Next Generation. That was my favorite. I'm going as a Marina Sirtis ( Deanna Troi) for Halloween this year.

The ones that aren't on TV anymore so I don't need to see them

The original, then Voyager and then the early years (lol) series!

Next Generation will always hold a special place in my heart. It took me a while to get warmed up to Voyager, but I really enjoyed it too.

Original was best, TNG for making it more modern while staying fantastic.

they are all great...except for Enterprise...not good...and what was that damn theme music about!!!

Either Next Gen or DS9; Voyager stank.
They were all pretty ludicrous and I often got annoyed with the embarrassingly bad plot holes and retarded technology but I think Next Gen was the most original.

Deep Space nine. Because it was darker and everything wasn't all squeaky clean. It had more character depth that any of the other shows. Much better story line too.

Each one added a bit to the original story and where excellent in their own right.

I like it all (I want to say equally), although some of my favorite episodes were on Deep Space Nine.

the original ..definitely enjoy watching that best.
I like tng & ds9 and will watch them if my mood prefers the better effects and more up-to-date storylines and technical stuff but you cant beat the original for atmosphere.
i grew up watching it so adds a touch of nostalgia too.

I prefer the original series.

Like all of them, Nect Gen was really good at re-introducing the brand, then DS9 continuted it, with Voyager finishing off the Next Gen series! Was a shame when it finished, but Enterprise was really good at looking at what happened before the origianal series. Would be now nice to have soemthing else from the Star Trek people, perhaps with the Next Gen theme, so more future rather than the past!

My favourite is ST next gen but I think the best in terms of quality was DS9.

Voyager was okish (terrible ending though) Enterprise was lousy. The original series was good but definitely shows it's age.

DS9
the orginal
next generation

voyager stunk up the television
enterprise had potential but blew it

Of all the series I have seen from start to finish. I personally enjoyed Deep Space Nine, followed by Next Gen, Then Voyager.

I found that DS9 seemed more edgier, the crew having their own agenda. My personal favourites are the Ferengi.

I haven't seen many of the original series, but what I have heard. Was they were pushing the boundaries of TV in there day.

As for Enterprise, I have seen a few episodes, never really appealed.

To add a bit of controversy, I used to be a Trekkie, but now have become a Gater. I have found all of the 10 series of Stargate unmissable.

As much as people rag on it Enterprise. I just think that it was a great series. Here is my thought process on it. Voyager was a great idea. Out there on their own. New threats, limited resources and a crew that is not all together yet. Right? But I always felt like they did it wrong. It wasn't a bad show, I just felt like it was wrong. Along comes Enterprise. Same idea new threats, limited resources and a crew that hasn't done this before. Throw in a cowboy captain and you have a great ride. I really think that the only reasons it was canceled were that it was only on UPN (really less people watched UPN than The WB) and Star Trek had been on for so long that people no longer felt a need to have it. We had been left starving for ST by the time Next Gen came around. Then DS9, this is cool. It's different. Voyager and Enterprise just came out a bad time. Interest/craving had faded.

None I hate all the series.

the original was the trend setter obviously, then ST:TNG brought it to a new audience with a bigger budget and fresh characters and probably the best villians (the Borg), but DS9 was for me the best series with the most interesting characters and most diverse storylines. Whereas Voyager started off with lots of promise, struggled in the middle until they introduced 7of 9 (did I hear someone say Borg? What's that? sexy, superslim female with dominatrix overtones in bid to boost ratings?) and when even she failed to make the ratings soar then the ending came in a rushed and cobbled together fashion. As for Enterprise? Good idea just the same plots rehashed. Nope, its gotta be DS9 for me

I cut my Star Trek teeth on 'The Next Generation' so it will always be dear to my heart but I have to admit I love DS9 the most. The character development through the seasons was excellent, the episodes were involving and the show was perfect in depicting that nothing is ever perfect, even in the future.
