Is Studio 60 really being canceled?!

Question: I liked it, and then it was cancelled, then it was a an important part of college graduates viewing, then it was cancelled.

or it cost 3 million an episode, so was going to be cancelled before the seris even premierd in Britain.

What's goin on, cause I just don't know.

Do you think Mathew Perry was particulaly good in it? Some people said he could only play Chandler, but I thought he warmed up after episode two and was pretty good.

Good shows get canceled and crap like American Idol stays on. Just proves to me that the world is turning stupid.

Unfortunately it was canceled. It sucks because it really was a great show.

Matthew Perry was particularly good in it as was Amanda.

Perry was fine. The problem was Sorkin. He couldn't stop preaching. By the end it was getting better, but it was too late. And like you said it was WAY too expensive.

yes steve harvey talk about it on his morning show

Matthew Perry was great on West Wing and Studio 60.

i can't believe it's the end...wow....from the very beginning I loved this show and I wanted it to pass. I remember the first episode being just really well-written (especially at the beginning like the opening scene) and I thought "This has to be a success" but for some reason people kept tuning out. Why? Maybe because of how slow it was and yes it was slow but really I loved it. I loved how original it was (has there ever been a television show that ever week after week went behind-the-scenes of a sketch comedy show?) and now everyone's saying "series finale" so it's like "Wow....that's it....already" and it's not just season probably because it has been officially canceled by the network.

P.S : last episode Aired: June 28, 2007

Yeah, he was okay after an episode or two, but Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford...their whole relationship was bordering a little on the homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with homosexuality, I just don't think that's what Sorkin was going for). But what can he do? He'll never write another West Wing -- that series was a legend.

Onto the first part of your question, I'm sorry, it was canceled. Anyway, the DVD set is out now, so at least we have that. :(

already was cancelled. and i believe you can get it on DVD now as well.

sorry! i loved it too!

I'm up to episode 12 here in Britain (trying to avoid spoilers here). I love the show. Really love it. All the performances were stunning and the dialogue matches that of a Tarantino movie. It's such a shame we wont see a second series. I just hope it's due to financial issues and not the fact that it isn't/hasn't been getting the ratings it deserves.

Perry did a great job. He has in all of his rolls.
