because the show lost lots of ratings cause the whole show got turned around after john ritter's death they didn't have many storylines to go with so it ended quickly and weirdly
I t was because it was so sad with John Ritter not being alive and with them.
You must of missed that the father of the TV family John Ritter passed away unexpectedly..I think the writers had a hard time coming up with a different kind of story ideas that would work with John being gone..as to 'weird', I didn't think it was so weird considering the circumstances..these are my opinions anyways..take care and PEACE..;0)
cuz i dont think they knew it was gonna be their last one.
