"Criminal Minds" better with or without Mandy Patikin???!


Question: If any of you watch the show Criminal Minds which I love do you think that it will be better without Mandy Patinkins character. I don't I really like Gideon and am not sure how the show is going to do.

I think it will be neither better nor worse without Gideon, just different. The thing about an ensemble cast is that "one monkey don't stop no show". I'm not picking on Mandy here, just acknowledging the fact that the show will go on. They'll find other areas of conflict among themselves, don't worry, and while there are other shows that have it beat out in my mind, I'm still a faithful viewer and still enjoying the show.

    • hE WAS THE ONLY ACTOR ON THAT SHOW.lOOK UP ego in websters and the cast members of CRM.MINDS will be there.
    As much as I like Mandy and Gideon, and i do, I think the show will be better without him. It will allow the other characters to use their own skills to solve the whole of the crime. Not just set up Gideon to put it all together. Or vice versa.

    There was a line at the end of the first ep after he left, "We did just fine without Gideon."
    Not me.Mandy Patinkin is one of the best actors today.I really like the fact that he chose his morals over the regular paycheck the show provided him.That was a very honorable thing to do.
    I don't really miss Gideon on the show. His leaving has given Thomas Gibson's character a chance to shine. I'll be interested to see what the show will be like once Joe Mantegna joins the cast later this season.
    As much as I liked Gideon, I felt too many of the stories focused on him and I look forward to seeing the other characters finally gettting the spotlight for a change. I think this could be his leaving could be a positive move for the show.
