Naruto is a manga and anime series that first aired in the U.S. in 2005. It tells the story of 12 year old Naruto Uzumaki, who is an aspiring ninja. After graduating from the academy, he has many adventures with Sasuke Uchiha, a fellow teammate and rival, Sakura Haruno, another teammate, and Kakashi Hatake, their sensei, or teacher. The original series lasts for 200 or so episodes, and there is a spin off called Naruto Shipuuden, which takes place 3 years after the original series ended.
