What actually happened in House (broadcasted last night in Australia)?!
Question: I've got a question re the episode of House broadcasted last night in Australia. For other countries, it's the episode when House puts the knife through the electric plug and almost dies. There was that guy that they couldn't figure out what was wrong with him (his blood turned green) and they first thought it was cancer. Basically he dies in the end and before he dies they put his dog on the bed to say goodbye. Afterwards they realise the dog died too. What actually happened as I didn't really understand and it's bothering me now. Thanks

what happened was that their original diagnosis was correct, with the parasites or something like that, he didnt respond to the treatment of pills, however at the end it was found that he never took them. the dog ate them instead and that is how the dog died. the guy died because he never received correct treatment. so sad!
Yeah, the guy had worms or something. One of House's new fellows was supposed to give him the pills (it was right at the start of the show) and it turned out to be the correct diagnosis, but she was distracted (while getting him a glass of water) by the other doctors who wanted to take the patient for a scan (or something). Instead his dog at the pills and was poisoned to death. Meanwhile, nothing that House and the doctors tried worked, because they were going on the assumption that he had taken the pills and they didn't work.
