I dont know

Where is MAYFIELD?

When the 1997 movie "Leave It To Beaver" aired on the Disney Channel September 8, 2003, the on screen DIRECTV description of the movie was as follows:
Leave It To Beaver, PG, comedy. Christopher McDonald, Janine Turner, Cameron Finley. (1997). An all-American boy grows in suburban OHIO under the tutelage of loving parents and an older brother. Cameos by Barbara Billingsley, Ken Osmond.
According to the book - ... And Jerry Mathers as "The Beaver" - there are 27 Mayfields. The true location is a mystery.

I'm an avid fan of Leave it to Beaver and have nearly every episode on VHS, I may have every episode. I can tell you that from when he was little to the end of the show, they never had snow, the boys never wore anything heavier than a jacket and they mentioned the beach a couple of times, although it was usually Friend's Lake. There was only one episode that came close to a Christmas episode where you'd think you could tell if it was cold, meaning a mid-west or eastern state, and that was when Beaver "losted" his haircut money and Wally cut it for him. At the end of that episode, it showed Beav in a school choir with his sock hat on singing a Christmas Carol. It had to be California.
