What did you think of yesterday's "Ellen DeGeneres" Show?!

Question: I feel bad for Ellen. You dont know what you would do or how you would react until you are in her shoes so dont talk about her like she is trash. Everyone does things wrong but for Ellen she is so popular she gets the bad end. Why dont people talk about what good she does in the world instead of all the bad?!

I thought that she is a making a plea for her lack of common sense. Although them bitches should look at how well the pup was getting by in their new environment. The rules can be adjusted.

I don't understand why the people they took the dog from just don't reapply to adopt the dog.

I think the shelter they got that pup from was way off base. Once a person buys something its theirs to give away if they choose. She gave the dog a good home that is all that should matter.
They wont allow the other family to adopt the dog because their children are too young - they are 9 and 11!! Just dumb to not realize that children this age can be careful and nice to a dog.

A vast overreaction. I thought it would be something meaningful, but she hadn't even had time to bond with the dog, so I'm not sure why it being removed from it's adoptive-adoptive family would bring her to hysterics. Also, she did sign a contract...agreeing to surrender the dog back to the shelter (or breeder) is standard for ANY reputable shelter or breeder. Even though I don't necessarily agree with it in all circumstances, especially since there are so many dogs out there needing a good home, I can understand that they have to do this to prevent people from adopting on behalf of a less-suitable pet-owner, since the shelter doesn't have the opportunity to evaluate the home before placing the dog.

I think that company totally stinks and if they were so worried about rules they would have followed them when she adopted the dog., They never did a house check etc so, they only follow the rules when they feel like it,,,,

They should also give her the 600 bucks she donated in order to get the dog back to her!!!!!!

I find it odd that they won't just let that family adopt the dog, isnt the main reason the dog finding a nice home?

i dont understand why the other family dont just go adopt the dog if they loved it so much. right?

I think her plea was genuine and sincere. She felt bad for the family and the dog. The dog should be returned to the family.

I thought it was extremely touching but I gotta kind of agree with the humane society people. How could she have NOT been aware of the rules? I am sure the dog will get a good home soon and if I were the humane society women I would make sure to match up a new pup wiht the family they took Iggy from pronto.

She's an idiot.

I felt bad for her because that was mean to do, but I dont think I would cry about it on national television to millions of people. You can always get another dog.

Very emotional not like her at all to lose control. I will be watching her today though.

I love Ellen, but hate the fact that she's using her show and her celebrity to try to get Paws to bend to her whim.

Her hairdresser should have went through the adoption process before Ellen handed the dog over to them. Paws has the process for reasons. I don't agree with their "no children under14" rule, but I'm not running their place either.

Ellen's fans could really tell something was going with her when she didn't dance or give her daily commentary. However, I honestly didn't expect her to break down like she did in front of the camera. It really shows her dedication to helping animals. I also viewed some of the pics of the puppy and thought he fit in perfectly with her hairdresser's family. I just feel so awful about the situation, too, I almost teared up by watching her cry.

It was so uncomfortable to watch. I found out that the animal rescue organization does not give pets to families with children that are younger than 14 years old. Ellen's hairdressers kids were 9 and 11...i think they are enforcing the rules a little too rigid. I think the most important thing is that the dog has a loving home.

Well, I feel sorry for what Ellen is going through, If I were in her situation I know what she felt, she did the right thing, she let the tears all out, she LLLOOOOVVVVESSSSSS animals,
she has had a lot of animals on her show in the past, some of them were a lion, snake, birds, etc,
I hope she feels better,
