I like the old old Carly the one before Tamara although I do like Tamara more than Laura.
I will always love the original Carly (Sarah Brown).
I hated Tamara Braun when she first took over for Sarah Brown. However, by the end of her run, I really liked her too. The same thing has happened with Laura Wright. I didn't care for her at first, but I think she's really good on the show. Remember the girl who took over for Tamara Braun for about a month right before Laura Wright? She was sooo horrible! She couldn't act, couldn't cry, and was so hard to look at! LOL
With each new Carly I've thought there was no way I would accept HER, but I was wrong. I have accepted each of them after a short breaking in period (even the one that didn't last long). Laura Wright was easiest because I watched her on Loving and sorta kept up with her career.
Tamara and Laura were good, but Sarah Brown IS Carly....everyone after her is just trying to be the way she was
Sarah Brown (the original Carly is by far the best) I did not care for Tamara Braun at all! Of course when Laura Wright took over I was initially unhappy but now I like her. I do think Tamara really did a better job of being "Carly" but Laura Wright is pretty good. All in all no one beats Sarah Brown.
i prefer Tamara as well. it took me a long time to get used to Laura playing her. they definitely have different styles. but Laura's hands down WAY better than the one we had in between! she was awful!!!

I did not like the second Carly. I thought if I saw her standing with her hands on her hips like she always did one more time I'd scream. I was glad when she left. Laura Wright is okay for me now but I really didn't like her at first. I always liked the original Carly best.
Sarah Brown is my favorite Carly I didn't like Tamara Braun at first but she grew on me same with Laura Wright but I sure do miss Sarah Brown as Carly.
I really liked Tamara Braun, but Sara Brown was the best! However, Laura Wright brings some added depth and maturity to Carly. Carly has grown from that angry young woman she was when she first came to Port Charles (Sara Brown), to a loving wife and mother (often with some crazy stuff in between - Tamara Braun), to a complete loon (that short-lived Carly that looked like she was a carton a day smoker), to a full blown independent woman who really owns all of herself, the good and the bad and makes no apologies for it (Laura Wright). I'm quite happy with Laura Wright, I think she's doing an excellent job portraying just about the most tumultuous character on daytime.
I liked Sarah Brown, the original Carly. I haven't liked any of the recasts, although I think Laura Wright's Carly would be very close to the original if not for the piss-poor writing. Tamara Braun played Carly as too entitled and smug, which didn't make sense given the character's history of low self-esteem, but unfortunately the writers have stuck with the notion that Carly is braveandstrongandloveswithherwholeheart and made her into a total Mary Sue.
i will still love the orignal Carly but i like all 3
This Carly has taken the role and made it her own and I like her but Tamara and Sarah were the best Carly's, they were hard to replace and the viewers seem to have taken a liken to each Carly they had with exception of the one that didn't work out.
I liked it when Sarah Brown portayed Carly. She was the original. I like Laura Wright, I think she's a wonderful actress but I wish they would have stuck with Tamara Braun.

I prefer the old Carly I don't know her name but she was on when Lorenzo Alcazar just came to replace his identical twin brother. I think she is the best Carly and hopefully they'll get her back cuz this Carly is doing justice to the role.
I like the one actress that plays Carly now but I love and miss the original Carly-Sarah Brown. I loved her!!!!
I've always thought that Sarah Brown (the original Carly) was the best. They've all been ok, but Laura Wright is a little to "brash" for me. I think that she could show a softer side sometimes.
I am still quite a new fan, so the only Carly I've known is Laura Wright. I like her, but then I have no one else to compare her to for the role either.
Sarah was the best Carly. Laura is good but I never liked Tamara playing Carly.
