Question: Saw Ellen today and wow that was sad with ellen carying and all about the dog that the society took away from her friends. How cruel is that? Can't her friends just adopt him now?

The adoption agency couldn't visit the pup in its new home and do the paperwork there; rather than ripping the puppy away from its home??? This poor puppy has been through enough already, the agency could have a heart, no matter who gave the dog away, a celeb or not. That's not the issue. The agency overreacted and is putting that pup through more trauma than is necessary, if the agency had a brain/heart behind it. This pup is going to need a lot of love and nurturing after this agency gets done with it. I realize there was on oversight on Ellen's part by not reading the contract, and that was not smart and as you can see she is very sorry, but there has to be a better way than putting dogs through this trauma.
I just saw that on the news. It's very sad. I like Ellen, she's a very caring woman. Seems weird they'd take the dog away like that!!!!
Yeah I saw that. Thats so horrible. I think her hairdresser will eventually be able to adopt the puppy.
She did sign the papers that way. This same situation happened to me in Illinois. I went across the line to Indiana where there is less red tape and more common sense to get another dog.
P.S. I wonder if Ellen would also show the same amount of emotion about a precious little baby being butchered (aborted) inside a mother? Michael Vick's and Ellen's dogs get more attention than human babies.
The rescue center had a strict program in place, Ellen should have read the paper work, now because of irresponsibilty, the dog was removed from the new home. The new home can of course apply to adopt the dog. The rescue center, wants to be able to screen all possible adoptors

mah, I agree that Ellen should have read the papers. I mean, she's a celebrity and she must sign stuff all the time. I wonder how many deals she's signed without reading them. That's scary to think about.

I saw the clip and she wasn't crying for the little kids. She was crying because she made a fool of herself.
