Why was Ellen crying on her show today.?!

Yes, she spent a couple thousand $ on training the dog so that it would get along with her cat (I believe) and nothing worked so she gave it to another loving family. Apparently, the place she adopted it from felt it was better to rip the dog away from a loving home because it was against "policy". Anyone that knows Ellen knows that she would never just give an animal to anyone she didn't feel was fit. I don't know her personally, of course, but she hardly seems like a malicious person. I'm sure she would have loved to keep the dog. I too tuned in late but it was on the news this morning. I'm not sure what Ellen actually said on her show.
Ellen Was crying because she had to give her dog back to the shelter instead of ther hairdresser as planned.
She adopted a dog from a shelter with another celebrity...couldnt keep it. gave it to her hair dresser and their family to keep but according to the adoption of the dog from the shelter she couldnt just give it away if she didnt want it she had to give it back to the shelter. when they called to do the check up on the dog she told them the truth that she gave it away. the shelter went and took the dog from the family she gave it to and now she feels horrible because the family really is upset and now she cant even see the dog.
The place she adopted her dog from came and took it away. Not sure why but Yahoo news has a story up about it. I just didn't read it
She had adopted a dog and it didn't get along with her other pets so the organization that provided the dog made a big stink about it. I don't know what the fuss was. Sometimes people adopt animals and they don't work out. What else are they supposed to do? Live with an animal they really don't want for the rest of its life? I think the more humane thing is to return the animal so it gets a chance to go to another home where it is more compatible. It's better than the dog being put outside, yelled at, tied up, or dumped in a field somewhere
