Question: sorry but i'm watching "Ellen" right now and she's having a break down!! did anyone see it earlier in the day and know why? i just walked in...and she's weeping and saying "Please give it back..."...AGH! what happened!!???

She adopted this dog from a rescue group. It wasn't getting along with her cats and it was too hyper so she gave it to her hairdresser (who has 2 daughters). Well the dog is in a good home with kids who love it. The rescue group calls up Ellen and asks how the dog is, she said she found it a new home. The rescue group went to the hairdressers house and TOOK THE DOG BACK because Ellen violated an agreement she signed or something. CRAZINESS.

Her dog was taken away by the shelter, she couldnt take care of it so she gve it to 2 little girls and a mother who really loved the dog, but they said if there was any probelm ellen should have givin the dog back so they took it.

I understand how she feels about her dog. I'd carry on too if someone took my big buddy.
She got a dog from a shelter and when it didn't get along with her cats she gave it to her hair dresser. This violated Ellens signed promise that she would not give this dog away and the shelter people came and took it from the hair dresser..
I was on yahoo and i watched the video.
She bought a dog from the animal shelter and trained it and all that stuff.Then her hairdresser asked if she could have it cause she had two little girls who loved dogs.So she gave it away to them.Then one day the shelter calls and asks how the dog was going?She says she gave it away to that family.The shelter was not happy and took it away from the family.Ellen was blaiming herself cause she sais she shouldnt of gave it away and it was her fault.She wants them to give it back to them.
The adoption agency couldn't visit the pup in its new home and do the paperwork there; rather than ripping the puppy away from its home??? This poor puppy has been through enough already, the agency could have a heart, no matter who gave the dog away, a celeb or not. That's not the issue. The agency overreacted and is putting that pup through more trauma than is necessary, if the agency had a brain/heart behind it. This pup is going to need a lot of love and nurturing after this agency gets done with it. I realize there was on oversight on Ellen's part by not reading the contract, and that was not smart and as you can see she is very sorry, but there has to be a better way than putting dogs through this trauma.
Someone stole her dog. It was a long drawn out mess. Saw it on the news.
